May 18, 2024: Need For Love

“Have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time.” - Maya Angelou

The need for love is literally baked into each one of us. We may attempt to hide or deny that fact, but it is a fact, nonetheless. Our experience with Love may be a good one or a less than good one. That does not change the reality that we all Need to be loved. In our seeking, let's keep in mind that real love, genuine love is kind, it is patient and gentle. My ACID TEST for determining if someone loves you is this: Ask yourself how you feel about yourself, when you are with that other person. Do you feel cared for? Do you feel cherished? Do you feel loved? Or, do you feel like a trophy? Arm candy? An appendage? If you are not made to feel good about yourself when you are with that other person, you are with the WRONG person! Now you know!
