June 29, 2024: It’s Never Too Late

"I choose to make the rest of my life, the best of my life!"
⁃ Louise Hay

Why is it that some people seem to be full of life, while others seems to be full of a dour imitation of life? We all are given 24 hours per day to do with as we will. Why is it that some of us choose to tolerate an "I am over the hill." "It's too late to do anything else with my life," attitude while there is still plenty of life left in them? The reality that perhaps you did not accomplish some of the things that you wanted to do, when you wanted to do them, is no reason to think that you can't do some of them now. Anything that does not require the physicality of your youth, is probably still doable if you change your mind. Let me remind you, "it's not over until you say it's over." This stage in your life may be just the perfect time to do some of those things that you did not have time to do in the past. Be thankful if you still are reasonably able-bodied and of sound mind, to the extent that you can still accomplish some of your goals in life. Don't waste the precious remaining time lamenting unfinished things of the past. Spilled milk cannot be recovered. Find another cow and milk that one. As long as there is life in your body, and a reasonable portion of health, your work is not done. So, get off your duff and go do some stuff!
