June 18, 2024: Husband and Wife

"Let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another, but not make a bond of love: let it be rather a moving sea between the shores of your souls."
⁃ Kahlil Gibran

The bond between a husband and wife is not only special, but enduring. It is a thread with which stitches of caring moments, loving touches and passionate interludes are woven stitch by stitch, day by day, year by year until a beautiful, precious garment is produced that covers them both; blending laughter, joy, sorrow, ecstasy, and grace that lasts for all too short a time-and yet for eternity.
