“You can conquer almost any fear if you will make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn't exist anywhere except in the mind.” — Dale Carnegie

Life truly is a mind game! It's in our minds that we see ourselves being successful at something or failing at something. It's in our minds that we preview an upcoming challenge, an upcoming test and see ourselves succeeding, or failing. Our minds are the master creators of our lives! How then do we take over management of our minds? In a world where we constantly receive overt or subtle messages from sources, both friendly and unfriendly about who we are and what we are capable of doing, it is not easy to have positive expectations for our lives. In spite of all of that, we must somehow control, to whatever extent possible, the thoughts that we allow to enter our minds. Hanging with negative people will not make us more positive. Let's start by reducing the amount of time we spend with negative people; and we know who they are. We can then spend more time around either more positive people or listening to positive programming on TV, Internet or social media. There's plenty of positive programming out there if we will look for it. As we expose ourselves more and more to the positive, we will hopefully distance ourselves from as much negativity as possible. As we practice being positive and begin to read positive affirmations and think positive thoughts, we will gradually become less fearful of things we once thought we could not do or be. Because we can change our minds on purpose, we can change our lives on purpose. Life is absolutely a mind game! By working hard at changing how you think, you will change how you live your life! You can learn to live fearlessly. So get to it! Practice being positive!
