May 24, 2024: Don’t You Settle!

"May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears."
⁃ Nelson Mandela

Don't you dare settle!
Don't settle for mediocrity, when you know you can do better. "That's just the way it is" is okay to use if you're talking about the weather or something else that you have no power to change. That phrase does not apply if you are talking about something that you can change if you want to. Don't settle! Make you proud of you! Try this. The next time something crosses your mind that you once dismissed because you felt it was too hard or you weren't sure you could do it; the next time that thought occurs to you, do something about it. Take that first step. When that step is accomplished, take another step toward it. When that is done, take another step. What you will learn is that taking one do-able step at a time will enable you to see that most significant accomplishments are reached by taking one do-able step at a time. One step at a time will take you anywhere you want to go! GET GOING!
