March 18, 2026 A Winning Life Needs a Vision (Because Drifting Isn’t a Strategy)
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” — Proverbs 29:18
Listen to, or read this meditation:
Let me ask you a question with love—and a little edge:
Where are you going?
Not “what are you doing today?” Not “what bills are due?” I mean where is your life headed? What are you building? What do you want your family to feel like? What do you want your future to look like when you wake up inside it?
Because if you don’t choose a direction, life will choose one for you. And usually it picks “busy,” “tired,” and “stuck.”
A vision is not a fantasy. A vision is a decision.
Vision is a picture of the future that helps you make choices in the present. Without vision, you say yes to random stuff. You chase what’s loud. You get pulled by other people’s priorities. You work hard but still feel like you’re not getting anywhere—because you’re moving without aim.
But with vision? Everything changes.
With vision, you start filtering decisions. You ask, “Does this help the life I’m trying to build—or does it distract me from it?” You protect your time. You tighten your circle. You stop living on accident.
And Friend, here’s what I’ve seen: vision doesn’t just organize your schedule. It strengthens your spirit. It gives you something to get up for. It gives your hard days a reason.
Your vision doesn’t have to impress anybody. It just has to be true. It can be simple: a peaceful home, a stronger marriage, a healthier body, financial stability, deeper faith, better parenting, meaningful work. A winning life is built one clear choice at a time—and clear choices come from clear vision.
You can’t hit a target you refuse to name.
Name it. Write it. Walk toward it.
Action Step: This week, write a one-paragraph “3-Year Vision” in plain language. Start with: “Three years from now, my life looks like…” Include your home, health, relationships, money, and purpose. Then pick ONE habit that supports that vision and start it today. And get ready to be amazed by new person you’ll see blossoming.
